Godspeed to Immanuel and his family

On Sunday, May 31, Good Shepherd had the pleasure of celebrating the ministry of our Intern Immanuel. Since joining us in September, his personality, wisdom and character have helped us grow to know God in new ways.

As a sign of appreciation, Good Shepherd gifted him with a stole to wear upon his ordination as well as a monetary gift to support him and his family (wife Cynthia and daughters Cheryl and Meryl) during this time of transition. We also gathered together with his family for a wonderful lunch, pausing to give thanks for him and rejoice at being a part of his journey in ministry.

Immanuel will now begin interviewing with congregations with the hope of finding a community where he will be able to use his gifts to proclaim the good news.
