Your Welcoming Neighbor
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a community of people united by a common faith in Christ, providing a source of peace and hope in our world. We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), serving the Palos Heights community and the surrounding Chicagoland area for over 65 years.
Through God’s fullest expression of love, Jesus Christ, we strive to nurture and share this gift through word and action, impacting our community and the lives of all with hope and comfort. Our congregation has dedicated members who exhibit gratitude for God’s blessings and excitement for future possibilities. We extend our warmth to you to grow in faith together while spreading LOVE in our world for one another.

Good Shepherd works to make an impact during Lent.
After celebrating the 70th anniversary of the congregation, we are striving to make a difference in the community during Lent. Each Wednesday during March, we are hosting a community meal at 6:15 pm. At these meals, we'll be collecting a freewill offering to support the Pathway To Sobriety program at The Center in Palos Park. Check out the video next to this announcement with more information about this amazing ministry.
Special Lenten Services on Wednesdays at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm.
