October 17, 2008 Dear Parents of Cherub Choir Members, I hope you’re all enjoying the changing colors of fall and cooler, but beautiful weather. The cherubs did a great job with their last song. It was a little more challenging but they handled it quite well. We next sing on Sunday, November 2nd at the 11:00 service. These words are listed below. Any help at home is greatly appreciated. I’ve also listed the words to our next song “We Thank You Lord” which we sing on Thanksgiving morning at 10:00. Although there are a few weeks in between songs, please continue to try and make as many rehearsals as possible. We’re going to work on both these songs and also get a head start on our Advent and Christmas songs. We’ve got a lot to learn. We’ll be singing some secular songs for the concert this year. I’m sure the cherubs will have a lot of fun with these. Speaking of Christmas (it’s only about 2 months away), the concert is scheduled for Monday, December 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Please let me know ASAP if you cannot be there. I think everyone should be out of school by then, so I’m hoping everyone can make it. We are probably going to sing in the first and second half, but we’ll be at the beginning of the second half so you can leave the concert early if you need to. Any questions on this, please just e-mail or call me. I’ve completed the schedule through Christmas. It’s also listed below. As you review the schedule, please contact me if your child will not be at any service when we sing. Please feel free to call me or e-mail me with any questions.
